The Role:
* Manage the procure to pay cycle for third party services and materials required in support of activities and operations.
* Secure the acquisition of services and materials from third party providers in a timely, efficient and effective manner by managing the cycle of document preparation to bid, evaluate and award the required contracts in accordance with company processes and procedures.
* Prepare all required internal and external stakeholder contract approval documentation and complete all activities required to expedite internal and external approvals.
* Assist in the development of category and contract management dashboards, reports and process improvement opportunities.
* Undertake process mapping and documentation of contracting guidelines; assist in delivery of end user training

Key Accountabilities

* Take a proactive role, in conjunction with Contract Sponsors, in long-term contract planning and ongoing contract management for allocated contracts portfolio.
* Update contract plans and prepare summary presentations of category and contract data.
* Prepare contract strategies, invitation to tender/proposal documentation, evaluation models and negotiation plans, contract documentation and award recommendations; co-ordinate input from technical, HSE and other functional support groups and stakeholders as required.
* Develop internal and external approval notifications and requests.
* Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with suppliers in conjunction with legal, tax and other functional stakeholders.
* Manage ongoing contract and purchase order administration, variations, notices and correspondence.
* Manage contractual queries and claims.
* Assist in development of reporting dashboards to provide contract data and category spend visibility.
* Analyse data to assist with effective contract planning and management.
* Develop cost models and commercial bid evaluation templates
* Actively participate in process improvement initiatives and assist in documenting contract processes and guidelines.
* Perform other related contracting duties as may be required.
* Maintain the highest ethical standards at all times.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Experienced in contracts and procurement work - I.T contracts preferably
* Have experience with Contract management/ERP system
* Experience with complex approvals and compliance regimes
* Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and with minimal supervision
* Analytical and critical thinking skills; commercial awareness
* Demonstrated sound work ethic
* Tertiary qualification in supply chain, procurement, legal, or business-related discipline
* Advanced Excel and reporting skills
